MAIA Documentation
MAIA is a platform for voice and text AI agents: inbound and outbound calls, messaging conversations, CRM and analytics. This section is for developers integrating MAIA into their systems.
What you can do via the API
- Manage projects and calls — list projects, call history and details (status, transcript, recording), contacts.
- Place outbound calls — pass a number and a task; the agent calls and runs the conversation.
- Connect the MCP server — drive agents straight from Claude and other AI clients with natural-language commands.
- Receive webhooks — HMAC-signed events for completed calls.
Two ways to integrate
| Method | For | Why |
|---|---|---|
| REST API | backends, scripts, integrations | plain HTTP, predictable |
| MCP server | Claude and AI clients | same operations by voice/text, no code |
